Here is a small collection of useful tools to help you maintain your system and allow us to better service you.

You may install this software with confidence, as they are virus-free and are provided from trusted sources.

Remote Support Tools
TeamViewer is a connector which you run to allow Copeland Data Systems to connect to your computer for remote control and support.  There is no software to install and it uses secure channels for all communication.

Click here and choose "Run" to begin.

Note: The above client will work in almost all cases.  If we direct you to download and install the HOST version, click here.  This will allow you to install TeamViewer as a Windows Service so we can securely connect whenever necessary.

RealVNC

In order for us to connect to your computer to resolve some issues, it may be necessary for you to have VNC installed.  You may download it here:

Download VNC for Windows

When installing, you may simply accept all the default options.  You will see a VNC icon with a green 'V' in your system tray near your clock.  Double-click on this icon and set a password.

CDS Desktop v1.3
The CDS Desktop gives you an even easier way to interact with our Project System to create and manage projects with Copeland Data Systems!

With CDS Desktop, you can see where your open projects stand, and easily see which projects we may be waiting for your input on. The current Project Leader is highlighted in the list of associates, and their help is just a click away.

Version 1.3 adds FTP functionality, so you can easily upload and download files directly to our network when they are too bit to send through standard email.

We have also built in a one-click button to launch a private videoconference room within your organization. From there, it is simple to invite others for a virtual meeting.  It's free, secure, works through firewalls, and there is no software to install.

The CDS Desktop icon sits quietly in your System Tray logged in until you need it, saving space on your Task Bar.

What our customers are saying...

"I just wanted to tell you again that the CDS Desktop works extremely well in setting up projects and in obtaining status information about all of our work in your system. It is easy to use and provides excellent information and documentation."

Installation of the CDS Desktop
CDS Desktop is a "distributed application" that runs on a Microsoft's .NET Framework using remote XML (SOAP) requests over the Internet.  If you are interested, we would be very happy to tell you more about this recent trend in application development that has evolved over the fast few years.

To run the Installer and CDS Desktop, you will need Microsoft's .NET Framework 1.1 installed on your computer.  If you do not yet have it installed, you can download it from here or from the Windows Update Website (Tools...Windows Update in Internet Explorer).

To download the latest version of CDS Desktop, click here. The latest version is v1.3.
